ONExia Rotor Blade Cart

Blade Line

Simplified Blade Management.

This new technology stands to revolutionize the manner in which helicopter rotor blades are handled throughout the manufacturing and repair process. The ONExia Rotor Blade Cart is an ingenious docking system that utilizes a blade's center of gravity, effectively securing the blade for easy rotation and transport.

Perfected over years of field testing, this simple yet innovative technology is fully operational without the need for tools, air, or power. If you would like to eliminate handling, reduce damage and increase productivity during any point in your manufacturing process, the ONExia Blade Cart is the answer.

BladeCart

Features:

  • Carts can be used to transport blades throughout the manufacturing facility, reducing potential blade damage
  • Two rotating nests can be placed at any spacing and are adjustable on their locking casters
  • High lip rollers with 180° degrees of contact to the circular nest
  • Large lips allow the user or operator to move the cart by pushing on the frame or blade
  • All blade contact parts are removable tooling for easy change-out
  • 180° or optional 360°of rotation allow for service on both sides of the blade and easy loading
  • Stops are included on the 180° version to prevent over-rotation
  • Brakes on each rotating assembly will allow the assemblies and thus the blade to be positioned at many angles, allowing for twist in the blade
  • Ample braking force will be provided to allow an operator to lean on the assembly without it slipping
  • Removable top and bottom assemblies, pull pins only, no tools!
  • Removed halves stow on the frame below the blade
  • Nose contact area remains in place regardless of side removed to keep blade secure
  • Full access to entire side of the blade for repair work
  • Clear anodized extruded 6063 T6 Aluminum for all framing
  • Two Rotor Blade Carts are used to fixture one rotor blade
  • Balanced design uses the blades Center of Gravity, eliminating the need for a motor driven assembly
