NSK: Maintenance-free Series Monocarrier
The compact actuator combines ball screws and linear guide bearings, dramatically reducing the work load for design, assembly, and adjustments due to its single unit construction.
Five types are available:
- 03 (rail width: 34 mm)
- 05 (rail width: 48.6 mm)
- 06 (rail width: 58 mm)
- 08 (rail width: 80 mm)
- 10 (rail width: 100 mm)
- Maintenance-free
- The standard carrier is equipped with the NSK K1™ lubrication unit. No additional lubricating is required for up to five years or 10,000 km
- Corrosion resistance
- Standard low-temperature chrome plating on rails and sliders prevents corrosion under ordinary storage and usage conditions
- Simplified design and installation
- A combination of main bases, ball screw nuts, and support bearings fully integrated into a single unit dramatically reduces design and installation work
- Lightweight and compact
- Integration minimizes cross-sectional size while reducing weight by one half, compared to conventional combination mono-axis tables
